When I saw the details for the 1 Billion Followers Summit I was really interested in the topic: "The future with a positive twist". I started to outline a short story but it got more and more complicated, ending up designing a little bit of a universe in the future, where liquid glasses in space form lenses directing sunlight to grow crops at night, people are going to seven year adventures to build new datasets for a super AI called MOTHER, and people live in endless sunset on a moving platform that goes around Earth chasing last light. Technically the requirement for the competition was to do at least 70% of the generations using Google Deepmind tools, but for a challenge I pushed it to 100% using some of the new features in Veo3.1.
