The Somniloquist: Sunday Paper is the first in a series of Dion McGregor’s dreams being brought to life with AI. Director Nik Kleverov states that Sora is the “perfect tool” to do so. He cites his inspiration for the piece as "Twilight Zone" meets "Mad Men." Dion became famous for his extremely intricate dreams that his roommate recorded in 1960s New York City. Pippa Lambert came to me with the original recordings, which have a lovely vintage texture to them that were just begging to be brought to life. Grammy-winning composer Marius DeVries composed an original score to picture.
